Position Details

Number of vacancies available: 1 x full time (76 hours per fortnight) fixed term to 30th June 2018

Position Summary:

Working in the Out of Home Care Unit within the Children and Families Policy Branch, this position will part of a dynamic project team required to develop and delivery on a range of priority initiatives designed to ensure better outcomes for children and their families who come into contact with the out of home care system. The position will support a range of programs that have relevance to both residential care and home based care.

This fixed term position will be required to support the delivery of initiatives by undertaking work on project development and implementation, including by developing material to support stakeholder engagement and executive decision making; and providing timely analysis and advice on project planning and implementation, including key project risks, issues and opportunities.

  • Capable of using new ways of thinking and innovative approaches to help achieve better outcomes for children and young people in out of home care?
  • A team player with a strong record of working collaboratively and effectively to help meet objectives?
  • Able to manage reform projects, setting directions, identifying issues, engaging stakeholders, preparing timely briefing and project documentation and achieving change?
