POSITION SUMMARY:

 

Project Officers

 

The Project Officers in the Housing Development Branch role will place a key role in providing support services to the project team who are focused on delivering the Government's agenda of increasing access to affordable housing for Victorians. The role will contribute to a variety of complex projects at the development and delivery phases, the procurement of contracted services and products, reporting and ongoing process improvement.

 

Are you:

 

  • Experienced within the community housing sector with a proven track record of delivering large scale, fast-tracked social infrastructure projects? 
  • Able to conceptualise an idea and turn the idea into a deliverable that meet business needs?  
  • Open to new ideas; show initiative; proactive and self-starting; seizes opportunities and acts upon them? 
  • Strong in analytical thinking and comfortable dealing with high levels of complexity? 
  • Able to build and maintain effective relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders? 

 

MANDATORY VACCINATION POLICY:
The department is committed to providing and maintaining a working environment which is safe and without risk to the health of its workers and clients. The department may require its employees to be fully vaccinated against preventable diseases such as the current coronavirus (COVID-19)  based on Victorian Chief Health Officer's Directions as issued and updated from time to time. Vaccination requirements may differ from role to role based on their risk category and the duties performed. The department's policy (attached) outlines the risk categories and requirements for employees working for the department. Where relevant, proof of immunisation status may be required.
