Position Details

Position Title

EPA is looking for a highly motivated Senior Intelligence Analyst, to support the development and embedding of its rapidly developing Strategic Intelligence function.

About the Role:

The Senior Intelligence Analyst will support the work of the Intelligence & Analysis Team in delivering a suite of Strategic Intelligence products that provide timely, relevant and actionable understandings and insights, to support evidence based regulatory decision making at EPA.

The Senior Intelligence Analyst role is key in delivering current Intelligence capability (including systems, processes and tools), identifying gaps and enabling a forward plan to further develop and embed a successful Intelligence function across the organisation.

Core responsibility include:

  • Produce timely, relevant and actionable strategic intelligence products for use by EPA, or in joint regulatory activities
  • Lead the development of key products, projects and processes to contribute to EPA's intelligence capability
  • Champion the implementation of best practice intelligence procedures across EPA
  • Actively engaging with stakeholders to identify and support their intelligence needs
  • Mentor junior intelligence analyst.

To be Successful in this Role:

To be success in this role you need to have:

  • Excellent communication skills, including stakeholder engagement, education and management
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience or training in Intelligence analysis and practice
  • Demonstrated experience applying the Intelligence practice in a Regulatory environment
