The BAMS Program Coordinator enables delivery of key project activity linked to the legislative and BAMS (Building Activity Management system) changes for the Building Permit and Levy function.
A key supporting resource to the Levy team, the BAMS Program Coordinator is responsible for providing strong project and general administrative support, coordinating local issue resolution, and reviewing and researching across a range of subject matter material.
The role also requires preparing advice and project documentation, collating vital statistics, process mapping, developing interim solutions, building database infrastructure, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including subject matter experts as required.
Who are we looking for
- Demonstrated experience working within the building industry in an administrative setting, familiar with Building Permits or Levy function would be highly regarded.
- Experience providing strong coordination service and support in a changing legislative or regulatory environment and/or in a relevant industry profession and understanding of the workings of Government administrative processes.
- Excellent conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to identify and analyse issues, develop systems and processes, and make sound recommendations on effective interventions and solutions
