Position Details

A unique institution at the heart of Melbourne's iconic meeting place, Federation Square, the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) is Australia's national museum of film, TV, videogames, digital culture and art. Welcoming over 1.45m visitors in 2015/16, ACMI is the most visited museum of the moving image in the world and the third most visited museum in Australia.

This role is an opportunity for an experienced leader to curate, produce and deliver a range of programs that engage visitors across audience segments.  As a key member of the management team, the role leads a talented team of producers and facilitators and works across ACMI to drive the development of strategies for public programming incorporating ACMI's cultural, commercial and creative offer to increase visitation, income and engagement

You will join ACMI, bringing with an extensive background in production and delivery of a portfolio of public events and programs coupled with strong strategic and commercial capability.  You will be an excellent communicator that inspires and motivates teams to deliver quality programming.
