Position overview

A fantastic career development opportunity to join our technical and regulation team as a Senior Technical Advisor within our Technical and Regulations team.

The Senior Technical Advisor Building is responsible for providing technical building advice to a range of internal and external stakeholders, responding to issues and enquiries, developing documentation, reports and briefings, liaising with industry, supporting technical committees/boards and providing specialised technical services.

Who we are looking for;

  • Eligibility for registration as a Building Surveyor or Building Inspector with experience in a Building Surveyor / Inspector role within the private or municipal environments.
  • Detailed knowledge and application of building regulatory framework including the Building Act, Building Regulations and National Construction Code and other relevant legislation.
  • Demonstrated experience providing quality technical advice to a range of stakeholders.
  • Extensive written communication skills with demonstrated ability to prepare complex technical reports, briefing memoranda, stakeholder correspondence and recommendations.
  • Possess a can-do attitude with strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task.
