About the Business Unit:

The Justice Officer Team Leader leads a team of Justice Officers at the Melbourne Justice Service Centres, and is responsible for the efficient delivery of administration, operational support and reception services in a team environment. The Justice Officer team provides operational and administrative support and client services to underpin the effective and efficient delivery of Justice Operations and community engagement services delivered from the Justice Service Centres.

About the Role:

The Justice Officer Team Leader, in conjunction with the location managers, will ensure that the administrative and support services team are sufficiently resourced and skilled to the meet the needs of their role. From time to time the Justice Officer Team Leader will act as an escalation point to resolve operational support and client service delivery problems raised by location Managers, team members and clients of the Justice Service Centres.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Supervising a team of administrative staff to ensure effective delivery of operational support, administrative and client services.
  • In line with agreed regional business plans, manage and co-ordinate a range of administrative business functions and projects.
  • Managing the physical assets of the Justice Service Centre, including vehicle fleet management.

About You:

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Well-developed computer literacy.
  • Good knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations.
  • Experience in leading a multi-disciplinary service delivery team would be advantageous.
