Position Details

Ambulance Victoria (AV) is seeking two driven and experienced Leadership and Executive Engagement Specialists to undertake organisational development initiatives and projects critical to the achievement of AV's organisational strategy. These newly created roles offer an exciting opportunity to be part of an organisation that services the community.  Joining the Organisational Development Team, you will be a valued member of the People and Culture Division.  The roles will suit individuals who enjoy the opportunity to review and re-shape programs and enjoy relationship management.  These are full time, fixed term positions with an end date of 30 June 2018.

About the role

Based at Ambulance Victoria's Doncaster headquarters and reporting to the Lead, Leadership & Executive Engagement, the main duties of the role include (but are not limited to):

• Contributing to the overall AV Leadership and Executive Development & Engagement Strategy learning and talent programs to strengthen the organisation's leadership

• Contribute to strategic learning and development plans for our leaders

• Play a key role in the design, development, delivery and evaluation of development programs, talent interventions, engagement initiatives and networking events

• Work collaboratively with Operational Education Department as required to ensure alignment across programs and content

• Work closely with the broader OD team to ensure alignment of all interventions.

About you

The successful candidate will possess a relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management or HR for example, and a Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training.  They will have experience working in Organisational or Leadership Development roles, HR Business Partner roles or similar.

Candidates will have demonstrated facilitation experience and the ability to support effective group discussions.  A high level of interpersonal and communication skills are therefore a must, as is a strong ability to develop and sustain strong working relationships and networks with key internal and external stakeholders.    Experience in change management and end-to-end design, development and delivery of OD interventions will also be necessary to ensure success in this role. The proficient use of Microsoft applications is a must.
