About Us:

The Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS) comprises of eight regions, through which compliance, enforcement and regulatory services are provided to the Victorian community.

The Loddon Mallee Region provides services for three prisons, two within the Loddon Prison and Middleton precinct which is comprised of a medium risk facility (Loddon) and a restricted minimum facility (Middleton). They also provide support through Justice Service Centres in Bendigo, Swan Hill, Echuca and Mildura and at outreach locations across the region, including Castlemaine, Maryborough, Kerang, Robinvale, Kyneton and Ouyen.

About the Role:

The Administration Officer, Offender Management provides a range of administration support to Loddon Prison and Middleton correctional facilities. Reporting to the Offender Management Supervisor, you will be part of a small team and will be responsible for a wide variety of functions including resolving internal stakeholder queries, preparing, attending and distributing minutes of various meetings including Case Management Review Committee and regular supervisor meetings as well as other general computer related duties.

Some of your duties will include:

  • As required, take, prepare, distribute and attend to electronic filing of minutes of various meetings, including regular Supervisor and Case Management Review Committee (CMRC) meetings.
  • Create and maintain records in the Prisoner Information System (PIMS).
  • Promote communication and liaison across all levels of staff involved in offender management processes, including other locations, Community Correctional Services, Sentence Management, and other business units within Corrections Victoria.

About You:

We are looking for people with the right attitude. No experience is required as all training is provided upon commencement though data entry, however rostering experience is preferable.
