Position Details

  • Utilise your Human Resources expertise to provide support and advice to the People Services branch
  • An Ongoing, Full-Time opportunity to work with a high-performing and passionate team in the Victorian Public Service
  • VPS Grade 2: $58,539 - $75,175 plus superannuation

About the Business Unit:

Rostering Operations is a centralised team within the People, Safety, Culture and Communications business unit. The team provides on-site support across multiple Corrections Victoria locations that utilise TimeTarget.

About the Role:

As a Rostering Officer, some of your duties will include:

  • Preparing and publishing fortnightly rosters, up to 8 weeks in advance and maintain rosters daily
  • Performing daily quality checks and manually authorise any required outstanding timesheet exceptions from the previous working day
  • Performing daily and fortnightly salary checks and payroll previews and resolve anomalies to ensure the accuracy of all timesheets and payroll data for Payroll processing.

About You:

As our ideal candidate, you will possess:

  • Knowledge and experience in rostering, human resource services and/ or payroll, within complex custodial environments is highly desirable
  • Experience and proficiency in the use of TimeTarget, Chris21 and/ or other rostering and payroll systems is highly desirable
  • The ability to interpret and provide advice on departmental policies and, enterprise awards and agreements is highly desirable.

Qualifications

  • A relevant qualification or work experience is desirable.
