VPS4: $90,067 - $102,192 per annum plus superannuation

About the Team
Assets and Engineering enables a safe, resilient and fit-for-purpose Victorian transport system through leading the states' approach on strategic asset management and engineering; facilitate knowledge retention and sharing; and provide trusted advice to DoT and partners in transport delivery and operations.
About the opportunity
The Senior Engineer – Structural will undertake complex structural load assessments and a range of tasks related to the analysis and assessment of bridges and other road related structures to safely maximise utilisation of structures and give advice on maintenance and strengthening investment priorities.
The Senior Engineer - Structural will exercise professional independent judgement to undertake structural inspections and a range of tasks related to the condition assessment of bridges and other road related structures
As part of their work, the Senior Engineer - Structural will be required to negotiate with, and influence key stakeholders, and will apply project management skills to co-ordinate the planning, work scheduling and resource management matters relating to development and delivery of projects.
The Senior Engineer - Structural will also be required to develop innovative responses to complex problems.
