Position Details

The Senior Project Officer will be responsible for the delivery of high priority leasing projects for leases issued under the Land Act 1958, Forests Act 1958 and the Crown Land (Reserves) Act 1978. The Senior Project Officer will also be responsible for undertaking land acquisitions and land transfer processes for additions to the Crown land estate.

The position will also be responsible for initiating improvements in practices and providing specialist advice and guidance in the development and implementation of policies relating to Crown land management. They will work closely with the Unit manager and other team members, as well as regional staff, tenants and proponents. An appropriate tertiary qualification or extensive experience in property management, law, or Crown land is desirable.

This is a fixed term - flexible position for a period of 13 months
