The project officer will use their project management expertise to support the design and delivery of projects to support improved performance across major projects on public land, develop operational policy and guidance in relation to matters such as asset management and public land management and use. The position will also be required to prepare authoritative advice on both routine and complex matters relating to matters within Victoria's public land management legislative and policy framework.

The position will suit a motivated and conscientious person who is interested in the management and delivery of important projects located on Crown land, including State forests or National Parks, and in supporting Victoria's public land managers to most effectively manage the state's public estate. The role will be well-suited to someone who is capable of developing and maintaining sound relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver project outcomes.
