Reporting to the Manager Budget Coordination, the Manager Business Partnering is responsible for leading and managing a team of key contacts providing strategic advice in a genuine partnership model.

The Manager Business Partnering is expected to provide expert advice, analysis and support to senior managers and stakeholders on aspects relating to the management of the Department's budget and reporting requirements.   The role also supports senior management with the day to day operations of Finance and Planning functions and provides timely financial advice on the performance of the department and its major projects.

The role is responsible for developing strong working partnerships with stakeholders and developing an in depth understanding of business drivers and priorities in order to provide value-add advice on current and emerging issues.

With a degree in accounting, finance or commerce (desirable), the role requires a high level conceptual and analytical skills, a focus on detail and proven ability to build effective relationships along with strong written skills.
