The Policy Officer, Environmental Water Management will support the development and implementation of strategic policies and projects to support environmental water management in Victoria. The position will contribute to effective environmental outcomes through initiatives to improve the protection and management of environmental water and input into other water resource management activities that may affect access to and management of environmental water.

If you are a high performing individual who is driven by a desire to achieve environmental benefits within Victoria's water resource management framework, with demonstrated knowledge of the impacts of climate change on water resources or water way health outcomes, you are strongly encouraged to apply.  A tertiary degree, preferably in science, environmental engineering, natural resource management, environmental law or equivalent is mandatory to assist formulation and implementation of relevant policy.

This is a fixed term position for a period until 30 June 2019.
