This is an exciting opportunity to join the Policy and Strategy Unit, in the Land Management Policy Division and help shape strategic policy related to the management and use of public land in Victoria. The position is responsible for providing strategic and innovative policy advice on a broad range of public land issues. In particular the role will lead the initiation of new investigations and assessments undertaken by the Victorian Enviornmental Assessment Council (VEAC) and lead the preparation of government responses to VEAC final reports. The position will work closely with VEAC as well as other departments, agencies and land managers and requires strong project management, policy development, research, and stakeholder management skills.
