The Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP) was established in 2015 to oversee the largest rail infrastructure project in Victoria's history, including the elimination of 75 dangerous and congested level crossings across Melbourne. To date, 29 level crossings have been removed, 18 train stations have been rebuilt, new track has been laid, and eight level crossing removals are now in construction.   • One full time, fixed term VPS 5 opportunity for up to 12 months


An exceptional opportunity exists for a suitably experienced Manager, Ministerial and Parliamentary Services to join the Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP), working on one of the largest infrastructure projects in Victoria's history.

Reporting to the Director, Business Strategy, theManager, Ministerial and Parliamentary Services will be responsible for leading the briefing, correspondence and parliamentary business coordination function for LXRP. This position plays a core role in ensuring high quality and timely ministerial documents that are consistent with LXRP current positions. The position is also responsible for building effective relationships with key stakeholders across LXRP, the Office of the Director-General, Department of Transport and the Ministers Office to ensure effective and efficient management of all ministerial documents.

Key to your application will be your experience and understanding of the administrative mechanisms and activities required in the delivery of ministerial briefings, correspondence and parliamentary business in a government framework. Your ability to lead, support and develop a team will also ensure your success in this critical role.
