The Executive Assistant is responsible for the provision of executive and project support to the Executive Director Climate Change Division. The role coordinates the day to day operations of the office and the flow of business in the Division through to the Executive Director. Prioritising and managing emails, and screening and attending to a broad range of enquiries and requests, including matters of a confidential or sensitive nature; Coordinating schedules, arrange meetings, prepare meetings and follow up actions, as required; Managing the timely flow of parliamentary, cabinet and business reporting, and information requests and responses and Support the implementation of new business and administrative systems, policies and practices.

The role will also support the delivery of a range of strategic projects. Extensive experience in providing high level executive support, together with excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder skills are required in this role.
