Position Details

The Project Officer will provide input to policy development, stakeholder management and project support related to the project governance and oversight of the rural water corporations, effectively manage communications and build strong relationships with key personnel within the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning, other government departments, water corporations and other key stakeholders. Prepare project documentation including funding deeds and review milestone reports to manage projects on time and within budget.

The role will play a key role in project governance processes and will work closely with Victoria's rural water corporations, other sections of the Water and Catchments Group, other Divisions of DELWP, and other Government departments. An appropriate qualification in science, natural resource management or approved equivalent would be desirable.

This is a fixed term – flexible position for a period to 29 April 2018.
