Position Details

Project Services provides the department's best-practice aligned ICT project body of knowledge and supports the achievement of ICT-enabled business outcomes through high-quality advisory and engagement services. The Project Management Office (PMO) plays a vital role in enabling Project Services to fulfil its function, through provision of project governance standards, compliance, reporting, and supporting resourcing and contract management.

The role requires a PMO Coordinator who is a flexible, team player that will work to ensure effective operation of the PMO. The role will work closely with another PMO coordinator to successfully manage the reporting, resourcing, financial/contract management and project governance advisory functions of the PMO.

The key to the success of the PMO Coordinator is to have the ability to be self-managing, to have strong customer service skills to manage a variety of stakeholders, to understand the role of a PMO and a broad range of reporting needs to support customer needs, to solve problems and to contribute to the service excellence of the PMO.
