The Manager will have responsibility of managing the day to day operations of the Financial Reporting valuation team at Valuer-General Victoria. This includes the training of staff and liaising with key stakeholders and contract valuers. Manage the strategic procurement of valuations on behalf of the whole of government through the qualified Valuation Services Panels (VSP) and a team of in-house valuers for large, complex or sensitive financial reporting valuations.

The successful candidate will be required to provide expert advice to senior management on unique, complex and sensitive financial reporting valuation matters, form strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and work closely with other Land Victoria Branches, DELWP Divisions and Departments. Position reports to the Deputy Valuer-General, Government Valuations. Applicants are required to have extensive experience in valuing properties for financial reporting and insurance purposes, preferably in the public sector.

Ability to produce detailed project plans where objectives are clearly defined and action steps for achieving results are clearly specified.
