The incumbent will be required to provide valuation advice, undertake and outsource complex, urgent and sensitive valuations. Developing a strong working relationship with both internal and external stakeholders is essential. The positions report to the Manager Government Valuations.

Specialist/Technical Expertise:

  • Completion of an appropriate tertiary qualification with Certified Practising Valuer (CPV) status and membership with the Australian Property Institute (API).
  • Knowledge of the Valuation of Land Act 1960, Land Acquisition and Compensation Act 1986, Planning and Environment Act 1987 and other relevant legislation.
  • Knowledge of the government processes and land administration matters.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems to ensure compliance with ISO 9001: 2015
