The Senior Valuer will be required to provide valuation advice, undertake or supervise outsourced complex, urgent and sensitive valuations for compulsory acquisition purposes Developing a strong working relationship with both internal and external stakeholders is essential.
Specialist/Technical Expertise:
- Completion of an appropriate tertiary qualification with Certified Practising Valuer (CPV) status and membership with the Australian Property Institute (API).
- Knowledge of the Valuation of Land Act 1960, Land Acquisition and Compensation Act 1986, Planning and Environment Act 1987 and other relevant legislation.
- Knowledge of the government processes and land administration matters.
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 certification
