The Planning, Building and Heritage Division lead the planning and building legislative framework and related statutory systems, including policy development and a reform agenda. The Division also lead heritage advice across government, and deliver programs to support heritage conservation, advice and support to key government projects.

The Policy Officer will contribute to the delivery of the Victorian Government’s building reform agenda. This will involve working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement solutions to complex building and plumbing issues. The Policy Officer will also contribute to providing tailored and timely advice to the department’s Executive and the Minister for Planning to inform the implementation of reform options to the building and plumbing regulatory framework.
