Position Details

- Casual role earning $62,104 - $79,753 per year, plus super.
What you will do
As a justice officer, prison services – casual, you will support key prison services across the precinct. You will work with prison staff and have direct contact with prisoners.
You will:
- provide accurate finance services, including prisoner accounts, payments, data entry and reports
- operate the prisoner shop and update records in SPEND and other systems
- order, receive, track and deliver stock across the prison precinct
- manage prisoner records, property requests, transfers, receptions and discharges
- complete clear records, reports, correspondence and other office tasks.
About you
You do not need a mandatory qualification for this role.
You should also have:
- strong computer skills and confidence using common office software and equipment
- knowledge of relevant laws, policies and work procedures, or the ability to learn
- an understanding of correctional settings, or the ability to learn how they operate
- flexibility, sound judgement and a respectful approach when working with others.
