  • Lead the strategic planning of stakeholder engagement and public communications for the Victorian Energy Upgrades program and the broader energy efficiency branch.
  • Undertake basic desktop research, synthesis, summaries and fact checking of relevant external publications
  • Develop and provide quality assurance of public communication and information resources (fact sheets, web text, presentations, bulletins, correspondence, speeches)
  • Develop and support processes to improve information flow to the public and stakeholder groups
  • Improve and maintain the web presence for energy efficiency programs, including working with IT contractors, strategic communications and other key stakeholders. 
  • Ensure the energy efficiency branch aligns its work with activities and objectives of key internal stakeholders, including the Minister's Office, other agencies and departments.

 The key selection criteria specified below outline the capabilities required for the position.

  • Provide a single response to the Specialist/Technical Expertise criteria that highlights your strengths.
  • Provide a response to each of the four Knowledge and Skills criteria using the ‘Situation Action Outcome' (SAO) approach (refer for more details of the SAO approach).
  • Excellent communications and stakeholder management skills
  • Understanding of energy efficiency opportunities will be well regarded

This is a fixed term position for 12 months.
