The Project Support Officer will contribute to the delivery of the Latrobe Valley Regional Water Study and DELWP’s input to the whole of government delivery of the Latrobe Valley Regional Rehabilitation Strategy.

The Regional Rehabilitation Strategy is a key component of the Victorian Government’s response to the Hazelwood Mine Fire Inquiry and is being developed in partnership with the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources, the Latrobe Valley coal mine operators and the community, with expert technical scrutiny.
The position will work in a multidisciplinary environment supporting the management and delivery of technical assessments of water resource issues relevant to the rehabilitation of the Latrobe Valley coal mines. It will assist with documenting and reporting the progress in delivering a broad range of activities supporting the Regional Rehabilitation Strategy.
This is a fixed term position until 30 June 2020.
