The Project Officer, Energy Efficiency will work with a team in delivering the Minister's priorities for energy efficiency and productivity programs. These programs are designed to help businesses and households reduce their energy use, to save money on their energy bills, support the creation of Victorian jobs, and contribute to reductions in Victoria's greenhouse gas emissions.

The Project Officer will develop and provide quality assurance of written communication (PPQs, briefs, correspondence, speeches) related to project delivery and policy development. The role will support the delivery of energy efficiency programs by contributing to stakeholder consultation, communications activities and events.

The role will require skills, including some understanding of energy efficiency activities, strong project management capabilities, the ability to undertake general desktop research, and strong communication skills to enable effective collaboration within the Department, with the Minister's Office and with government and external stakeholders. Opportunities for skills development will be available to support the successful candidate in fulfilling this role.

This is a fixed term position for a period of 1 year.
