The Senior Project Officer will work collaboratively across the Water and Catchments Group and with other stakeholders to contribute to the design, development and delivery of reviews and five yearly assessments of sustainable water strategies. This position will provide timely and high quality policy advice and operational support to then project manager and governance forums. Will lead elements of the scoping, development and delivery of the Central SWS review process, five yearly assessments of the Western and Gippsland Region SWSs, and review of the Northern Region SWS.

The successful applicant need to have a sound understanding of, and experience working with, Victoria's water management and entitlement framework is advantageous, a tertiary qualifications in science, engineering, planning, economics or natural resources management are desirable.

This is a fixed term flexible position available for a period until 30 June 2020.
