The Adviser, Issues Management, is responsible for preparing a range of issues management content that anticipate audience needs and likely reactions to DELWP actions. They will work to the issues management plans that are developed by the senior advisers and managers, focused on strong, clear content and actions that are both proactive and reactive to achieve clear communication and support the delivery of business and ministerial outcomes.

If you have an industry-recognised qualification in communications, marketing, public relations or journalism and contemporary knowledge in providing media or issues management services in the public sector will be highly regarded.

This is a Fixed Term Flexible position for a period of 12 months
