Position Details

We are building an inclusive workplace to help realise the potential of our employees, embrace our differences, and apply our diverse thinking to innovation and delivering services to Victorian communities. All jobs can be worked flexibly and we encourage job applications from Aboriginal people, people with disabilities, young people and people from culturally diverse backgrounds.

This senior communications role acts as the key communications contact for the Environment and Climate Change portfolios, and operates as part of a broader communications and digital division.

This is a hands-on and strategic role, working on important projects to lead the Victorian government's responses to climate change and environmental protection.

The role works across DELWP, with portfolio agencies, external stakeholders and with ministerial offices to implement DELWP's statewide objectives in the environment and climate change portfolio. This work will help make our regions, service delivery partners and portfolio agencies as successful as they can be in delivering for government and Victorian communities.

The role will suit a seasoned communications professional who is an enthusiastic, organised self-starter with strong experience in strategic communications and relationship management.

This is an ongoing position.
