The Senior Project Officer – Energy Digitalisation will undertake a conceptual design project to understand the potential for data generated by energy businesses and end users to transform the way the energy system delivers outcomes for customers, businesses and communities. The project will look at how to leverage and extract greater value from smart meter capabilities to provide insights to underpin new business models and projects.

The role will require the development of a concept study and business case for improved access to energy data, including the details and specifications for the design, data capture and integration, site build, regulation and related mechanisms to facilitate access to energy data.

The Senior Project Officer will support the project through project management and digital expertise to develop the concept of an energy data mechanism that reforms data access arrangements and processes.

This is a fixed term position for a period of 12 months
