The Project Officer will contribute to the design, delivery, monitoring and reporting of a key Departmental program supporting the environmental health of the bay and improved and innovative grant delivery with community will work as part of a team, focusing on the implementation, and monitoring of the Port Phillip Bay Fund grant initiative.

To be successful in this positon you be highly organised with a strong focus on service delivery and attention to detail, sound analytical and problem solving skills, the ability to prioritise tasks and conflicting workloads ensuring timelines are met without compromising quality standards. Self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and team work skills. An appropriate qualification in science or natural resource management would be desirable.

This is a fixed term - flexible position for a period of 2 years
