The Aboriginal Landcare Facilitator is a statewide role in the team that delivers the Victorian Landcare Program, the Victorian Government's program of support for Landcare in Victoria. The Aboriginal Landcare Facilitator will work with regional staff, Traditional Owners, and Landcare support staff across the state to build the competency of Victoria's Landcare community regarding Victorian Aboriginal cultural heritage and Traditional Owner groups.

This positon will have a strong focus on engagement, service delivery and attention to detail, sound analytical and problem solving skills, the ability to prioritise tasks and conflicting workloads ensuring timelines are met without compromising quality standards. Success in the Aboriginal Landcare Facilitator role will require a self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal, collaboration, relationship, negotiation and team work skills, as well as strong organisational skills. Demonstrated experience working with Traditional Owners and Aboriginal communities and engaging community organisations to deliver projects that that have involved Aboriginal cultural heritage management. At least three years' relevant experience is desirable

This is a fixed term – flexible position for a period of 2 years
