The position of Senior Policy Officer Compliance will work with water corporations, government and water industry stakeholders to develop, implement and / or evaluate water compliance policies and programs, provide technical advice and support the Water Resources Division's contribution to compliance review processes. Identify emerging compliance challenges and opportunities in relation to the Governments successful delivery of the objectives as outlined in Water for Victoria.

The role will be required to develop and maintain strong industry relationships that will facilitate adoption and implementation of compliance measures to meet statutory requirements and intergovernmental agreements. Tertiary qualifications in science, public policy or natural resource management or other relevant discipline Experience in the field of compliance preferably within the water sector.

This is a fixed term flexible position for a period of 12 months
