The Project Officer position is within the Waterway Health team in the Catchments Branch. The team is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of waterway management policy in Victoria and works closely with the catchment management authorities to invest in management activities to improve the health of waterways across the state.

Working as part of a small team this position will involve a range of wetland projects, including oversight of a monitoring, evaluation, reporting and improvement program and projects that demonstrate the outcomes of waterway health investment programs. You will build strong and effective relationships with a range of stakeholders; prepare project briefs, reports and correspondence on complex waterway management issues.

A background in catchment, natural resource or environmental management or approved equivalent is desirable.

This is a part-time (0.8 FTE) fixed term position until June 2020.
