The Impact Assessor works as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver outstanding environmental impact assessments for projects with the potential for significant impact on the environment.

This position will provide timely and authoritative written and verbal advice to departmental executives and the Minister for Planning on EIA processes, as well as specific procedures, and requirements for individual projects, contribute to the efficient management of environmental impact assessment procedures under Victorian legislation, coordinating with other statutory processes. A relevant qualification and demonstrated technical skills in environmental impact assessment or aligned discipline is required.

This is a fixed term – flexible position for a period of 12 months
