The Aboriginal Partnerships and Engagement Support Unit comprises three members and sits in the Aboriginal Inclusion Support Branch. It is responsible for supporting DELWP to build and strengthen meaningful relationships and genuine partnerships with the many distinct Traditional Owner groups, Aboriginal Communities and key stakeholders.

The Project Officer, Engagement and Research will contribute to delivery of high quality engagement support across DELWP to build relationships and partnerships with Traditional Owners and Aboriginal Victorians.

The Project Officer, Engagement and Research will also work with internal and external partners to ensure the integrated delivery of Partnerships and Engagement services to the community.

As an active member of the Aboriginal Partnerships and Engagement Support Unit, the Project Officer, Engagement & Research contributes to the delivery of group and departmental priorities, and to building an inclusive and high performing workforce that is customer focussed, collaborative, professional and engaged.
