Position Details

We are building an inclusive workplace to help realise the potential of our employees, embrace our differences, and apply our diverse thinking to innovation and delivering services to Victorian communities. All jobs can be worked flexibly and we encourage job applications from Aboriginal people, people with disabilities, young people and people from culturally diverse backgrounds.

Leading processes and people, The Team Lead – Supply Chain and Workshop, will lead the Equipment Maintenance and Development workshop, which includes the Warehouse Supply services, and will meet operational objectives and set clear direction for staff.

You will take the lead role ensuring equipment is maintained and supplied for any land management and emergency response in the state of Victoria. As you do this you will ensure your team meets all legislative, policy and procedural requirements. You will be adept at identifying emerging complex or highly sensitive issues, risks and trends impacting on the successful achievement of your team's objectives and priorities. Developing innovative solutions and options comes natural to you.

You will have strong project management capabilities – you are able to comfortably navigate the mile stones of projects and work through ‘pain points' to see projects to their completion.  You can organise yourself to gain the optimum use of your time and that of the people you work with. Your project management skills will be used to devise a plan and cut through to the delivery of the plan and bring it to life – from support to facilitation to implementation.

Your leadership and people skills will lend themselves to developing a high performing workforce that is customer focused, collaborative, professional and engaged. You support, and mentor team members and you are an example of collaboration, accountability and high ethical standards. You already live the organisation's values with a commitment to safety and wellbeing. All your actions support a high performing team culture.

Please refer to the attached Position Description for the entire Key Selection Criteria that is to be addressed.

We will have high regard towards applications with experience in project management, strategic planning, inventory management and supply chain logistics. Additionally, we are looking for a successful candidate who has commercial acumen, business planning skills and vendor management experience.

This is an ongoing position.

To be considered for this position, your application should include a supporting statement demonstrating that you meet the key selection criteria and any job requirements specified in the position description.
