The purpose of this role is to lead service excellence in delivering procurement and contract services, including tender documentation, specifications, and contract management practices and actions to support a high performing culture. 

The Senior Project Officer – Procurement and Contracts will lead delivery of high quality procurement and contract management function across projects, programs and initiatives, by developing and implementing strategic procurement projects to meet project timelines and to required standards in the Logistics Unit within the Logistics and Operational Improvement Branch.

You will be part of a highly responsible and friendly team that ensues equipment is maintained and supplied for any land management and emergency response in the state of Victoria. Your role as a Procurement and Contracts professional will be to support the Logistics team in their objectives and priorities. The successful candidate can roll up their sleeves and hit the road running because they have the inherent skills and expertise to do so.  

It is desirable that the successful applicant will have a professional background and expertise in public sector procurement and contract management.
