The Project Officer is a member of the Forest and Emergency Management Planning Unit and will support project delivery for implementation of key departmental priorities for emergency management.

The role includes supporting coordination of communication, engagement and reporting of emergency management planning projects and initiatives across the department. The role also provides support and advice to engagement, monitoring, research and risk specialists, ensuring that information and case studies are shared to support new planning processes and risk tools across the state.

A tertiary qualification in natural resource or environmental management, public policy, science, law, economics or similar is desirable. If you have demonstrated ability to develop and implement planning frameworks and processes, you are strongly encouraged to apply.
