The Civil Engineer will ensure that state forest road and bridge construction, improvement, replacement and maintenance programs across the state road network is carried out efficiently and effectively to professional engineering standards and in accordance with existing legislation, policies, plans and Codes of Practice. The position will provide timely advice and recommendations to the senior management team on arising issues and prepare and manage technical specifications in relation to crossing replacement and upgrades.

If you have relevant experience in the field of road and bridge design and construction and a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering you are strongly encouraged to apply. Experience in consultant and contractor management is also required.

This is a fixed term position for a period of 2 years.
