The Regional Operations & Resources Lead position provides leadership to Senior Forest Fire Management Operations Officers, Senior Forest Fire Management Emergency Preparedness Officers and other district staff within the Hume Region, in the preparation and implementation of fire and emergency preparedness plans, fire suppression activities and coordinates the Regions Project Fire Fighter and Fire Fleet and Fire Equipment replacement programs. 

This position requires a person with demonstrated leadership, communication and problem-solving skills. Your current strong planning and organising capabilities, with extensive knowledge and experience in fire suppression and control strategies will see you succeed in this role. 

The position has a key role in ensuring our fire and emergency preparation activities in the region are implemented including the coordination of fire fleet, fire equipment, project firefighters and emergency infrastructure.

This is a fixed term position available for a period of 16 months.
