The Regional Manager Forest and Fire Operations leads the Forest and Fire Operations Unit to coordinate the planning and delivery of regional forest, fire and emergency management services to support the Forest, Fire and Regions Group to successfully deliver government and community priorities.

The position is responsible for achieving business excellence and building a high performing culture in providing leadership and coordination to provide environmental, economic and social benefits, and improve the safety of local communities.

If you have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of community engagement and extensive experience in the leadership of operational teams with an emphasis on land management and emergency response, you are strongly encouraged to apply. An appropriate qualification in science, natural resource management and approved equivalent is highly desirable.
