You will then present your findings to communities and agencies in an easy to understand way, with strong written and verbal communication and assist in the creation of the new Strategic Bushfire Management Plan and other long term strategies.

The position is in a multi-disciplinary team with Fire Behaviour, Ecology and Monitoring Evaluation and Reporting specialists that works to improve long term Forest & Fire planning across the Port Phillip region. The team values continued professional development and is a very collaborative team of technical specialists working between Knoxfield and Heidelberg.

This is a Fixed term position available up until 12 August 2019.
