The position will lead understanding and application of native title legislation and policy across the Barwon South West Region working within DELWP, with Traditional Owner groups and other government agencies. The position will also support public land managers by providing public land and property management services in the Great South Coast.

The successful candidate will preferably have qualification or experience related to native title or public land management, and contribute to building an inclusive and high-performing workforce that is customer focused, collaborative, professional and engaged.

This role will provide expert advice on the application of native title legislation and policy and issues resolution for the Barwon South West Region; enhance organisational awareness, understanding and successful operational delivery of native title, Aboriginal title and joint management principles; and deliver public land governance and administration services, environmental and land use information and advice and actions.

This is a fixed term position until 13 December 2019.
