The Program Manager – Compliance Operations will lead delivery of high quality environmental compliance and wildlife management services to support the Forest, Fire and Regions Group to deliver outcomes for government and community. This includes developing and implementing schedules of work and operations plans that reflect regional and statewide priorities and resource availability.

The purpose of this role is to lead service excellence in building the capacity, capability and culture of regional and district personnel to provide a range of compliance and wildlife management services that addresses risk to the Department's objectives and environmental assets valued by the community.  The Program Manager will build excellence in the management of operations, investigations, and the monitoring and improvement of performance.

The Program Manager works with internal and external partners to ensure the integrated delivery of environmental regulation, compliance programs and services to the community in the Forest, Fire and Regions Group.

An appropriate qualification in science, natural resource management or approved equivalent id highly desirable.

This is a fixed term position available for a period of 12 months.
