As Senior Policy and Project Officer, you will be part of a team focused on Victoria's implementation of the Murray-Darling Basin Plan and national water reform. You will work across Water and Catchments Group and other Victorian Government agencies on matters related to Basin Plan implementation. You will also participate in intergovernmental forums with other Basin States and the Commonwealth Government and agencies including the Murray-Darling Basin Authority.

You will prepare advice and briefings on complex policy and technical matters related to the Murray-Darling Basin, and other water management issues where Victoria has intergovernmental involvement; you will provide strategic oversight of budgets, contracts and reporting to support program delivery.

This is a fixed term position for a period of 2 years.
