The Senior Policy Officer is responsible for providing high level policy analysis and advice, project management and stakeholder engagement on a range of issues in relation to government policies, objectives and priorities for the governance of the Victorian water sector.

You will be required to provide strategic advice and support analysis in relation to the oversight and strengthening of Victorian water sector board governance in accordance with government policies and identify policy issues for the Victorian water sector and develop workable solutions to resolve them to secure improved governance arrangements for a high performing and efficient water sector.

You must possess experience with government and understanding of its decision-making processes and proven ability to work across government and organizations to influence policies and programs. An appropriate tertiary qualification in public policy, law, governance or environment related fields and working knowledge of the Victorian public-sector governance framework is highly desirable.

This is a fixed term position available for a period of 3 years.
