An exciting opportunity exists within the Water Resource Strategy Division to undertake strategic project delivery for water quality planning and monitoring. Be part of a friendly innovative team working with the latest technology, monitoring data and information, and engaging with a large number of stakeholders.

The Project Manager – Water Quality Planning and Monitoring Strategy, will take forward key initiatives for the Division to deliver Murray-Darling Basin commitments, drive forward a strategic approach to water quality monitoring across the state, as well as delivering on policy and project outcomes for the team.  You will report to the Senior Manager Water Resource Information and liaise closely with the Murray-Darling Basin Water Resource Plan team of Partnerships and Sector Performance Division, and central and regional agency partners.  You will also represent Victoria on interjurisdictional committees and in negotiations.

This is an opportunity to demonstrate your drive and interest in water quality and to deliver tangible priority outcomes for the Water and Catchments Groups.

This is a fixed term position available for a period of 12 months.
